Notizie e aggiornamenti del sito

August 14, 2026 - Games, State Standards, and 487 New Worksheets Hey everyone,

It's been a long time since I posted an update, and a lot has piled up since the spring. Rather than dribble it out, here's a bunch of updates at once (more to come).

Games

There's a Games section in the menu now. But it's not just games, it's actually a better way to test math facts.
Really.
I tested both these with 3rd and 4th graders. They were literally on it for HOURS solving math problems. My nieces even came over and immediately asked for a phone to play. :)
Math Bubble Pop - a bubble shooter where you solve the equation and pop the clump showing the answer. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division or mixed, at whatever level you set.
Jigsaw Puzzles - every piece has a problem on it; solve it to place the piece. I've also got just a traditional jigsaw puzzle with images that some adults tested and really enjoyed. I spent... way too much time also building in a multiplayer option to this. You can share the puzzle and solve together, I tested that with 30 simeltaeous solvers. And then I spent even longer building it so it could support up to 2,000 pieces. My thought was "Hey a teacher with 30 students could create a 2k piece puzzle have everyone join up and solve it. Each kid would have to do like 60-ish problems).

Worksheets by Your State's Standards
If you don't teach Common Core, the site has always been a little awkward to navigate. That's fixed. You can now browse the entire library by your own state's standards... if your state is Oklahoma... (more coming soon):

Or www.oasworksheets.com

You'll see this icon all around the online learning. It will speak the problem / paragraph / answer.
I had actually built this just for the reading paragraphs but figured, "Hmm, I should deploy this everywhere and see how it does." I haven't pre-done any of the text so the first time it loads it may take a few seconds, but as more folks use it, more of it will be filled in and eventually it'll all be instantaneous.
Note: I haven't personally checked every problem or anything (there are several million, so that is quite the ask), so there may be some weirdness. If there is, please let me know.

New Language Arts Sections
Six new sections language arts sections:
Common Misuses - their/there/they're, your/you're, affect/effect, lay/lie, fewer/less, who/whom and about thirty more of the mix-ups that show up in every stack of papers.
Punctuation, Parts of Speech, Sentences, Reading Skills and Vocabulary - including progressive tenses, modal verbs and relative pronouns.

pacing calendar

And a Language Arts Daily (spiral) Review.

Pacing Calendar

pacing calendar

This allows you to put your breaks in (spring break, fall break, etc) and it'll create an entire years worth of assignments for you (flex days, built in).
It will also let you create a weeks worth of pdfs / distance learning at one time, as well as look back at what has already been taught and build spiral reviews automatically. And it puts all the assignments before your state test so you can make sure everything has been gone over and reviewed just in time.

Parents can now view a student's grades from a direct link, and the grade book and class pages got a general cleanup and a few options. Among those is something super useful for keeping parents apprised which is the 'print weekly report'.
This will take all the grades and kick out a pdf you can print which you then hand out to students (2 per page). I used to hand these out every Thursday and make the parents sign them and return them, so instead of having to wait until the 9 weeks report and hearing "I had no idea they had 42 missed assignments" now EVERY WEEK they know exactly how their child is doing and where they may need help.

Spelling

spelling maze

Another new spelling activity (up to 24 now), solving a maze by following the spelling words.

The Spelling List Generator makes a custom word list for any topic and grade - useful when you want the list to match what you're already teaching.

Under the Hood
Faster page loads, better caching, and a lot of small fixes to how sheets print. Nothing you should notice except that things load quicker.

As always, if something looks wrong, let me know. There's a lot of new material here and I'd rather hear about a problem than have it sit.
